Glassed building coating with changeable heat and light transmission
What are those glass constructions by the building-in of which we can do the most to ease the effects of the climate change on the one part and to increase the comfort of the staying inside the building on the other part? Do the constant values of the constructions produced on the present technical level (heat isolated glass, sun-protecting glazing, profile constructions of high heat isolation, shading screens) satisfy the transparency required by the recent high architectural standards? However, by the utilization of constructions glazed in twin layers (shading and streaming air in air space between two glass spaces) in many instances we can fulfil the above demands. Beside other advantages, the most outstanding one of these systems is the adaptability to the diverse requirements: the major amount of the unwanted heat originating from the summer sunshine remains outside the building and in the winter it stays inside. The components can be connected excellently also to the automatization system of the building (the light and heat quantity can be regulated by the motor-driven shading screens, the optional motor-driven windows ensure the cooling of the building during the night).
